Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Brunswick Endodontics at (910) 383-3100; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is brunswickendodontics.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 22 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded dentists in Wilmington.

Wilmington is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Wilmington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’m beyond grateful for the care I received at this office. I had a root canal retreatment done and Dr. Lawson was incredibly friendly, professional, and thorough. He took the time to walk me through the process and explain what he was doing along the way, which made the whole experience much more comfortable. I really appreciated the level of detail and care he put into his work. Most importantly, he was able to successfully save my tooth. Thank you to him and the entire team for taking such good care of me!

Like most people, learning that you have to get a root canal procedure done is NOT the type of news you want to hear. Venturing into uncharted territory, I was referred to Dr. Lawson and urgently met with him. Not only is he an expert, but he has a heart that CARES and quickly helped my anxiety by coaching me through what the next steps will be and got me in ASAP. My root canal was a difficult case, but he confidently said out loud before he began the procedure, "We are going to save this tooth!". And he did! The fun part about the root canal procedure (if you can say there's a "fun" part) is that Dr. Lawson talked out loud and made me feel SO comfortable with how it was going. He isn't just a pro at what he does, you feel they way he cares and you even walk away as friends. You'll be in good hands when you walk in, and you'll walk out as friends.

I needed to see a specialist for root canal treatment, and like most people, I was less than thrilled about it. But from the minute I called Brunswick Endodontics, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Lawson and his support team are professional, personable, compassionate and highly knowledgeable/skillful. It is obvious they put their patients first, take the time to get to know them and take pride in their work. They work together seamlessly resulting in great care and great results. Together they made an unpleasant situation a very positive experience for me, and I am extremely grateful. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

I have anxiety when it comes to dentists but Dr. Lawson was so awesome. He has a calm personality that made me feel at ease and he explained everything that he was going to do no matter which option he had to go with. It was very up front and clear. He worked on my tooth that broke off due to a hard nut and saved my tooth! Even if he hadn't been able to save it I'd still give him 5 stars for all the other reasons. It's so important to have someone treat you as a person and with understanding and being very clear in what was going on. I'd recommend to everyone.

Whilst no one wants root canal treatment, if necessary, this is definitely the place to go! Dr Lawson is extremely professional, skillful and incredibly thorough. The office is run very efficiently with true customer service at every step. Yes, his fees are high...my experiences so far have been that the fees reflect the skill and care put into his treatments and the quality of his equipment. I sincerely hope that I won't have to go back for further treatments (!) but if I do, I have complete confidence and trust in the dental services delivered by Dr. Lawson and his highly capable team.
